• The 20th Annual Erika Reade Show at Anne Irwin Fine Art, Atlanta, GA opening October 2, 2008

• Open Studios Art Tour 2008, San Luis Obispo County, CA, October 11 & 12, 2008, 10-5 PM. Libby will be opening her studio this weekend to visitors. Prints, paintings and personalized copies of her book Oil Painter's Solution Book: Landscapes will be available. Open Studios Art Tour is a countywide event sponsored by ARTS Obispo. • California Missions, Roger's Gardens Fine Art Gallery October 17, 2008-January 8, 2009. Roger's Gardens will celebrate the historic network of missions with a series of recent plein air art works in its new Fine Art Gallery. 2301 San Joaquin Hills Road, Corona del Mar, CA www.rogersgardens.com.

• Learning and Product Expo: Art, Pasadena, CA, October 23-26, 2008. Libby will be teaching two 3-hour classes on plein air painting the landscape. A booksigning will take place immediately following each class.

Workshops

The two week-long workshops in Los Osos this past July were extraordinary! Fun (and lots of hard work) were had by all. We were happy that the air quality had improved dramatically in time for class since in recent weeks we had ash falling due to the state's many fires. Plans are being made for the 2009 workshops which will include Fallbrook, CA, Farmington, New Mexico, and Los Osos, CA. We'll post the dates as soon as we confirm them, so please check back!
