Summer Morning on the San Mateo

The morning light and color inspired me to paint at this location. I was in Orange county painting for the Heritage Show sponsored by the Irvine Museum. Our goal was to paint the land that was being considered for a new freeway. Gratefully that did not happen. This plein air piece inspired larger paintings and has been in my Library of Knowledge, or as some would say, the Artist's Collection. Painting with Debra Huse..... ran into other "Heritage Artists" during our painting trip...
